Our Local Mission
Restoring Hope
For people facing financial barriers to eye care, vision loss can make it difficult to work, provide for their families, and live independently. Through our local mission, we help restore sight so individuals can remain in the workforce, continue supporting their families, and regain the independence that comes with being able to see. By restoring vision, we help restore opportunity and bring hope to those who need it most.
Taking Care of Our Community
Our mission begins right here in Kingsport, Tennessee, where we care for members of our local community who may not otherwise have access to the eye care they need. We provide comprehensive cataract evaluations and surgical work-ups, and when surgery is needed, we provide cataract surgery at no cost to the patient.
By removing the financial barrier to care, we help our neighbors regain their vision, maintain their independence, continue working, and better provide for the people they love. We believe caring for our community means caring for our neighbors as we would care for our own family.

What We Do in HondurasÂ
Roatán, Honduras
Each year, our team travels to Honduras to serve communities where access to quality eye care is limited by both availability and cost. We are honored to partner with Health In Sight Mission, the nonprofit that paved the way for sustainable eye care on the island by establishing the clinic and surgical center that make this work possible.

Through this partnership, we are able to bring comprehensive eye care directly to communities in need — including evaluations for glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic eye disease, as well as basic eye exams and prescription glasses.

For many of the people we serve, these services would otherwise be out of reach. Together with Health In Sight Mission and our local partners, we help protect vision, identify eye disease early, and connect patients with the treatment and resources they need to see more clearly.
